I think this photo of me working the elephant cougar act was taken on Gatti Charles circus in California around 1970.
The California tour was great. We played one to three day stands in hight school ball parks football fields starting in LA and going north to Oregon.
During this time I also worked in an act called: Congo the almost Human Gorilla.
The act was patterned after Norbu and I recall making a princely sum of 25.00 per week to scare families by running up into the audience. The blow off of the act was a forward somersault a couple cart wheels as the head came off with a big TA DA ...human revealed.
No pictures exist of my exploits as Congo as the innocent have to be protected.

with your story is in regards to
the word "innocent" nice try
I doubt either of us could get
away with such a claim
Bill, while reading your comments regarding the Almost Human Gorilla act, I was tempted to quote Smokey, "Show me the pictures".
But alas, none exist.

"better" gorilla outfit
